Green Living on a Student's Budget
Universities can be the birthplace of change. Change however, requires resources — like money. Students may not have the option of purchasing a new, hybrid car, but the following is a list of actions college kids can take to play a part in saving the environment without having to break the bank:
10. Shut the light off!

8. Don't crank up the fan; open the window instead.
7. Buy a reusable water bottle.
6. Recycle.
5. Wash laundry with cold water instead of hot.
4. Buy organic and local food.
3. Carpool, bus, or bike to class instead of driving.

1. Educate others; encourage them to care.
